Golf at Yarra Bend

After-work golf is always a heap of fun if you can find the time. Add a bit of Melbourne weather and a group of founders who spend most of their days staring at laptops, and you've got the recipe for a memorable evening at Yarra Bend.

We played nine holes as the sun started to drop, and the clouds conspired to rain on our parade. A light shower rolled through around the fifth hole, but we soldiered on.

We played two formats. Individual scores for those who wanted some personal accountability, and a team game for those who preferred shared suffering. The electric buggies added a certain efficiency to the whole operation!

We pulled up stools for a beer after the 9 holes and compared scores. Not sure anyone is the next Tiger Woods, but we had a lot of fun. Conversations ranged from what's working in their businesses right now to shot-by-shot replays that nobody asked for.
